Fat-Soluble Vitamins

Fat-soluble vitamins are hydrophobic compounds, including Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K. They have diverse roles: besides directly participating in and influencing specific metabolic processes, most of them also bind to intracellular nuclear receptors, affecting the expression of specific genes. Fat-soluble vitamins are usually absorbed along with lipid substances, transported in the blood by combining with lipoproteins or specific binding proteins, and often stored in the body to a certain extent. Impaired fat absorption and long-term dietary deficiency of these vitamins can cause corresponding deficiencies. Once excessively ingested for a long time, they are not easily excreted in urine and tend to accumulate in the body, possibly leading to toxicity and thus harming health. Therefore, detecting the content of fat-soluble vitamins in the human body is conducive to the evaluation of human nutritional status, the diagnosis of diseases, and the monitoring of treatment processes, which is of very important clinical significance.

Product Details

Ultra-high sensitivity and wide dynamic range;

Extremely simple pretreatment, liberating manpower and meeting high-throughput requirements; Strong compatibility, all water-soluble vitamin results can be reported with one injection; Provides a full set of calibration curve quality control, no need for on-site high-concentration dilution.

Significance of Monitoring

1、Assess the Current Status: Clarify the actual levels in the body—whether deficient, sufficient, or excessive.

2、Guide Medication: Doctors customize the most suitable supplementary dosage based on test results to avoid deficiency or toxicity.

3、Ensure Safety: Effectively prevent health risks caused by blind supplementation and make treatment safer.

Applicable Populations

1、Patients undergoing high-dose drug treatment: This is the core applicable population. When doctors use pharmacological doses (far higher than daily dietary recommendations) for treatment, monitoring is necessary to guide medication.

2、Patients with underlying diseases affecting absorption or metabolism: These patients have abnormal bodily processes, making vitamin levels prone to imbalance.

3、Patients with suspected deficiency or toxicity symptoms: When clinical manifestations appear, monitoring fat-soluble vitamins can assist in diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

4、Populations in special physiological states: Such as pregnant and lactating women. Vitamin deficiency or excess (especially in early pregnancy) poses teratogenic risks and requires cautious assessment.
